Would have waited until as late as possible if McLeish stayed.

It's clearly aimed at kids and the old fashioned sorts who are used to the days when collecting football badges was the thing to do.

Fine, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but you can't fault the club for trying. 

There's a guy who stands outside the Holte End before every game selling badges - if there wasn't a market for it he wouldn't be there.  And every time I walk past him someone is looking intently at the badges he's got for sale.

Although I normally applaud the efforts of the Marketing department this smacks of the Tony Hancock Blood Doner sketch. I can imagine Gold badge holders sneering at Silver in a holier than thou fashion.
