The bits that had been used from the old stand.Ahhh, I knew it was due to the old stand but thought is was during the building of the new. I thought I had read at the time it had delayed the opening/ added extra cost to the construction but obviously was mistaken.
I remember the downstairs was closed for the start of 1995-96 so it must have been found almost two years after the stand had been opened. They also had to take a couple of hundred seats out because of legroom problems.
