depends if you believe i haven't been down Paulie. I keep stum because its nice seeing Percy making a twat of himself and not realising it
Best if Gabby keeps his mouth shut from now on.
He wouldn't give the game away that easily. He'd rather keep it a secret because apparently if you believed him when he said he doesn't go that makes you look a twat.

Presumably this was when you were MIA from here for 6 months after the pube-headed one deserted you so i'll let you off for not updating your wallchart.
I think Gabby has been put up to this.I also think that McLeish has had a very easy time. 'Fans hate McLeish' is just the lazy journalism the papers fill their pages with.I would go so far as to say that it is the duty of every loyal Villa fan to give the manager, the owner and the board plenty of criticism. Why do I say that? I will tell you.Decisions were made at the highest level in the club to allow O'Neill to present himself to the world of football and beyond as being terribly wronged by Aston Villa. Not a single word of defence was made public by the club. That was the first refusal by the board and the owner to place any value on the feelings and the sensitivities of the fans. The second instance was the appointment of an old man with health problems who openly preferred his ties to Liverpool to ties with Aston Villa. Houllier was the board's man. No thought at all was given to the fact that the fans could not get on with him and that the Frenchman did not care. The third instance was the appointment at very considerable expense the failed manager of our bitterest rivals. I do not suppose anybody in authority at Villa Park ever even gave a second thought to the supporters' feelings and even if they did the answer would have come back "We run the club, not the fans. If they don't like it they can lump it."The fourth instance of disregard for the fans is the totally deliberate pursuit of percentage, safety first football. I do not suppose for one minute that anybody on the board has ever given a second thought to giving the fans value for the money they pay to get to and to watch Villa games. The fifth instance of disregard for the feelings of the fans has been the selling of our best players. Big offer comes in, player goes out. Not the slightest consideration is given to the fact that most of us would prefer to watch James Milner in a Villa shirt than Charles N'Zogbia.Five glaring instances which illustrate the mind set of those who run Aston Villa that the fans' feelings are of no consequence whatever. The only time fans start to be considered to have any importance are the circumstances Rangers find themselves in. When everything else has gone there are still the fans. They will still be there. That is what is wrong with Gabby's statement. The fans are the ones who have to do all the pain, not the players. I am genuinely surprised that Gabby allowed himself to be used to criticize the fans.
Gabby is as much to blame as any of the players. He's not been good enough this season, albeit playing out of position, but if he was truely a good enoguh forward we'd never have boguht Bent in the first place to dislodge him from his favoured position. He's lucky he's a fans favourite at the moment, as he's not really contributed a fat lot since November.
It's not easy when the player who admitted a week ago that he can't wait for the season to end is now discussing fans' negativity.Villa isn't a happy place at the moment; the club know it. So they will be leaning on the likes of Gabby - popular players - to try and put out these kind of interviews.

A few runs where he's looked sheer class punctuated by runs where he's looked poor. It's the same every season and exactly why I get irritated when people say that he's absolutely world class during one of his hot streaks or when someone says get rid when he's doing his best impression of the spare prick at a whore's wedding. He's a very good, if somewhat inconsistent player.I dare say that he will be embarking on another hot streak in a few weeks.
I dont know if Gabby ever visits the hallowed halls of H&V, but Gabby if you do, please be careful. Towing the line and being a media whore puppet will turn the fans against you. I would say aprox 80% of fans would list GA as their favourite player - great to watch, loyal and truly one of us, not someone thats been brought in and taken to heart but a local lad and one of the fans. I dont know if its in his contract to have to give press releases when called upon but it doesnt fucking wash - we are not stupid. If the team are so behind the manager why are they not playing for him? If they are and are indeed giving him 100% then we are failing because his management ability is crap and the cause of why we are where we are . Thus making our negativity towards him is justified.
