Can't do short links sorry! Nice article by Brian Halford and some great memories evoked!

I missed the Middlesborough home game so I could afford to go to Arsenal in the last game!

Great article Simon, I feel both proud at what we achieved back in 1981 and sad at where we are now and what has happened to the game.

Ahh yes, the days when we went to Villa Park expecting to win every game no matter who we were playing. And you saw eleven players on the pitch who also expected to win every game. Happy days.

The main thing in those days were you knew the players would give 110% every game, how many of the present day players can say the same and I dont just ask that about the current mob at Villa
