Steven Davis to return
« on: March 06, 2012, 05:11:14 PM »
Apparently he has offered to walk out of his contract with Rangers (one of 3 senior players to do so) and we are in pole position to sign him up. Impeccable source that I wont be naming.

Is this in the loan window or do we have to wait until the next transfer window?
Alternatively, does this only apply on FIFA12?

Not keen, but central midfield is rather weak.

I'd give him a short term contract.

If no good, then warm his heels to Bromford Bridge.

Makes sense, with the cuts going on up there.

Any more of their players worth taking a punt on?

We were linked with McGregor during GH's time here. With Guzan likely to depart, that might be an option.

I'd like to see Davis come back even if it was just on a short term deal and give him a chance to earn a longer deal.

What is their left back like?

I would imagine our scouts are picking over the Rangers carcass as we speak.

Papac is a steady Eddie. Wallace their other left back was a promising player at Herarts but I think injuries have taken their toll on him.

I don't know what their full backs are like, or even what their names are, but we'll have them both.

We have already been linked with Wallace for a summer move, think we could be in for 2-3 of them. Naismith comes to mind too.
