We should all do it. Plenty of shit on the pitch to wipe up.

You're probably not allowed to take them into the ground these days, probably classed as an offensive weapon.

It would be if it was used.

In my youth I was guilty of throwing bog rolls from the back of the Holte End in the early 80's.

I bet there aren't many left who could get the whole bog roll to unravel. Out of a train window was easy; one finger in each side and away it goes. From one end of The Special to the other.

And while we're at it, is it time for the fake silk scarves to make a return? You know the ones we used to tie round our wrists.
And what about wooden rattles painted Claret & Blue.

I've still got a few of those somewhere and a yellow and blue away scarf.

A bit of 60s and 70s music booming out before the match might help. You could close your eyes and imagine the aroma of Ansells Brewery. Heaven.

Nowadays the bog roll dispensers on the Pendelinos make it impossible; you have to do it sheet by sheet.

That's assuming you can find a window to open.

I've still got a '75 cup final silk scarf somewhere that my dad got me.
And some very battered rosettes from the 70s as well.
