After weeks of speculation aston villa have appointed nicky keye as manager. She leaves behind her role as head of consumer sales and will take her first training session in the morning.

Would it surprise us!?

Bear with me on this one....... Emile Heskey, Player manager. Probably won't pick himself as he'll want to concentrate on the job in hand. okay so he has no mangerial record at all, but......probably won't pick himself.

Nailed on for a player coach role in the summer.

John Blackwell suggested Rivaldo (or some second division Norwegian player)  a few years back as the perfect mentor for our Academy graduates.

That's all well and good, but when you have Ivanhoe already at the club why dine out?

Keane tried his own version of the Heskey shuffle v Man Citeh at home early into the game. So if a senior pro like that isn't too proud to learn from the master, our kids should be falling over themselves to do likewise.

If they aren't falling over themselves, I'm sure Heskey could teach them that as well.

On reflection, I think he'll appoint whoever Ferguson tells him to.

Steve Bruce?

He would not do a second bloke with strong blues connections after this surely?

Bruce is better than McLeish. Just.

I think Randy will appoint:
An offensive Coach
A defensive Coach
A Quarterback Coach

All from his failing Brown's Franchise..............
That'll solve our problems  ;)
