As I understand the rules, talking to/announcing a Bosman this early means it'll be an overseas player as they can't talk to clubs domestically until their contract actually runs out.

Market values look a bit off, but there's plenty on that list who would improve our squad.

I would take Diame and Figueroa off Wigan on bosmans.

Both would be good signings. Can't see many of the others on the first couple of pages coming.

Having a quick look at that list. Here's a few players I think we could realistically go for. (I don't know that much about the younger players absed abroad) - There's a few older ones that may want a Premier Legue swansong, but wages might be huge for the likes of Seedorf, Ambrosini, Nesta & Del Piero etc.

David (Jnr) Hoilett - Spurs are meant to be interested. Could see us a good stepping stone ala Milner, Young and Downing.

Rodallega, Figueroa & Diame from Wigan - All decent players.

Craig Gordon - We'd need backup for Given if Guzan goes, still young enough to then be number 1 in the future.

Ivica Olic - Read somewhere recently that we was interested. Probably bollocks.

Andy Johnson - Fulham. Useful squad player.

Louis Saha - Doing Ok at Spurs. Dodgy Injury record however.

Djemba-Djemba, Bouma and Mellberg all on there too.
