Drogba released by his Chinese team. Free agent, can go wherever.

Get him in!
I think that would go against just about everything that PL is trying to achieve and has done this week.

Has there been any reports on why he has been released already?

Majority stake-holder feels that he's doing all the funding and pulled the plug. Shenhua is paying Drogba and Anelka tons and they're in 12th place.

What is your wife's problem Kingy?   You sound very normal to me.   It's when a woman starts to say something good about you that you have to start to worry.   That is when the paraquat is going in your cocoa.

That's pretty much my experience too.

If things ever go-nipples up Brian, you have a future in marriage counselling.

I noticed that verbal diarrhea man has just taken Nathan Delfouneso on loan from us.

Are you sure?

Is it getting boring now?
Oh ok I see what you are on about but I genuinely had not read back and the comment was about Holloway rather than actual move.

Quote
PAUL Lambert has explained how he refused to revive a move for Fulham’s Clint Dempsey because he is only interested in players who really want to join Villa.

Lambert had a bid of £7 million accepted by the Cottagers, but the American international striker responded less than enthusiastically to the potential deal.

Dempsey was holding out for a move to Liverpool and when the Reds failed to meet Fulham’s asking price last night, he eventually signed for Tottenham.

Villa had a chance to go back in for Dempsey before he joined Spurs, but Lambert was frustrated by Dempsey’s attitude towards the claret and blues.

“I thought enough was enough,” added Lambert. “It’s never been my policy to overstep the mark. I want people who want to be here."

No one's signed Heskey or NRC yet then I see. Coker surprises me to be honest. Only 28 and always puts his all in. I wouldn't mind him on a short term deal, till end of season. Could be useful and he's a strong character, plenty of experience.

Yes, I'd have him back on a free too. Did well in his last few games for us. Wages would have to reasonable, he's not exactly in a strong position on JSA is he?

I wonder if Paul Lambert will be utilising this information in the next few days to strengthen the squad?

Hargreaves is the stand out player on the list, if fit. Grella and NRC might give us a bit of the experience we are lacking as well.

Grella was bombed out of Leeds 6 months ago

It would be silly not to have a look at Hargreaves. Del Piero and Buzsaky maybe too.

Hargreaves on a pay as play deal would be a good deal

Del Piero has signed for some Australian team.
