which is fine if that's what Lambert wanted and has received support for. I don't place as much value in Youtube footage because unlike scouts we don't watch games and identify other traits. I can show you 5 minutes on Heskey that make him worthy of starting place next to Messi. Lambert wanted his big centre forward which allows him versatility in attack and a partner for Bent and it looks like he'll get him.

Does sound a lot, but like you say Randy is backing Lambert.

The signings might seem strange to us but I'm sure there is a method to it all. He has a way of playing so these players will all have been picked to do this. It is time to have some faith in Lambert and give him some time to turn our team around.

Youtube can be a false guide but i'd say Benteke looks more Carew than Heskey. He looks pretty good actually. I've seen a few well taken goals on the dreaded tube. He seems to have a turn of speed for his size, decent enough touch and good eye for goal. I'd fancy that Lambert may have dug up a goodun. Hopefully he'll get signed and sealed soon.
