Paul Lambert is a very good Manager but he's no genius.  It'll take a genius to keep us up with this squad.  Randy wants us to buy season tickets, yet gives us not one single inspiring player to watch on the pitch.  Incredible attitude from the board.  Still, we have another 8 hours to go.  I am very, very happy to eat humble pie.  In fact, I would very much welcome it at 11pm tonight.

I think we just need one more high calibre signing to really lift the camp, the club, the fans and the team.

Let's face it, when Darren Bent came to VP how many of us could not wait for the next game to start? Now, I'm not asking them to spend £18-20m, but just a few. Someone to make us think "HOLY SHIZZLENIPPLES! THAT'S AWESOME!". The team we have now is not fantastic, but it is not terrible either. That one more signing could really make a difference to everyone!

I like everyone would love us to spend another £30m in the next 8 hours, but it's not gonna happen. One more. Let's get it done!

According to Belgian press, it seems there has been a shift at Genk. They decided after last night's game Benteke could go.

They're asking us to buy tickets, season tickets - a new revolution, Lamberts fresh start they say.

How about the board actually backing the manager PROPERLY, to compete with the mighty Stoke City, instead of buying kids from Chesterfield.

No criticism of the lads coming in, I'm sure they'll do the best they can, but the managerial fuck ups are down to Lerner, and we're paying the price by seeing cheap options coming in to replace established Premier League players INSTEAD of alongside premiership experienced players.

Hopefully Mr Benteke's currently on rightmove perusing the B75 properties!10.6million;12 million euros!

I reckon unlike certain other custodians of the hotseat,Mr Lambert has a plan A,B,C for our transfer dealings.
