The Dempsey deal might not be totally dead.  LFC struggling to find the cash.  They also tried to do a deal last night involving Henderson lol.
Am I just clinging on to hope?  Although saying that, i still expect him to sign for the 'The Mighty Reds YNWA'

[The Situation]

When the Dempsey story broke I though this is too good to be true, however I pictured him in a Villa jersey and was getting excited to have such a player in our team which also told me we've still got some ambition in signing a player like Dempsey. I thought, finally this is what we've needed all summer.

Now it feels crap, not only because it looks like we might be stepping out of this one but also because we still need to find an attacking/forward player. At the time I got the feeling Dempsey might be an alternative with Genk playing hardball, so now I'm quite concerned now with what's happening with Benteke or if we've got anybody else lined up more out of surprise just like with Dempsey.
