I still don't get this mystical attraction of Liverpool which football players still seem to have. This isn't the 80's anymore, they haven't been a top English team for a while now. They might still be a big name in football, but that's been it for the last few years. They won a Champions League which a great achievement but they've never been close to the likes of Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea and now Citeh. They've just coasted along for years finishing in 4th place and not being a big threat to the best teams to getting worse and more irrelevant in the Premier League to the point where it seems strange how such a big club can decline in such a way.

A least the Dempsey saga gave us the most exciting 45 mins of the season so far.

Dempsey's a superb player. Strong, determined, scores goals and works very hard. Let's just wait and see if he actually doesn't want to move to us rather than heresay. We've bought a number if younger players, but Dempsey even for two or three seasons would be a supern addition. It doesn't matter that he has no resale value. There are numerous intangibles that he would bring that would benefit the Lambert project. I hope this comes off.

Arnhem is in the north east of Holland.  Definitely not Flemish, almost German in fact.
