There is NO chance Dempsey will join us I'm afraid to say. I got well excited about the prospect of it but it's not gonna happen. Think this is probably more leverage for benteke deal. I fully expect Dempsey will end up at Liverpool late late on or spurs

Yes same  here and the way people expect scheduled meetings to ahead as normal..FFS it's 31 August and that means tranfer deadline day for everyone except Wenger and Harry (in the past)!

He's maybe got two seasons maximum at this level? And he'd be on big wages, £3m a year maybe. So we'd essentially be paying £13m for two good seasons. Maybe. Is that worth it? Are there really not better deals outside of the Engflation Premier League?
