There's a few clubs sniffing around trying to bring Federico Macheda in on loan. After his twitter outburst, I can't see him going back to QPR. He played last night for the Gloryhunters Reserves, scoring both goals.

I knew it was far-fetched to say the least, but thought I'd mention it. Wouldn't want him anyway - hardly a world-beater is he? I'll ignore any comparisons to the Chesterfield striker we are getting.

I don't think it's far fetched, he probably is available for a loan deal, I was just pointing out that the rumour was started, to the best of my knowledge, at 2.30 by a knuckledragger on SHA.

I like him as a player. Sharp, technically good, quite creative and sprightly in the final third. Could be useful.

Mark Davies is a very similar player to Joe Allen, IMO. If he's worth £15m then £5m for Davies would be good business, in this window.
