If I read about how much our kids are overrated again I'm going to fucking scream.
There is extraordinary pressure on them due to so many coming through because our senior players have been so disappointing.
Nobody said they were all stars but they're not getting the chance to progress naturally because our squad is largely shagged.
And Herd is a better player than NRC, easily. No, that doesn't mean he's going to be a top player. I actually think his best position is right back.
I'm not sure whether Clark is best at centre half or defensive midfield but I think he's worth sticking with.
On the subject of kids, it's time to blood Dan Johnson and Carruthers properly I think. And its heartbreaking that Gardner is out for another year. He may not ever be the player he could be now. One ACL injury is hard to get over but two... what a shame.

Mazrim, you're lucky if you get one or two through a decade that really make an impact at this level.

We seem to have been praying for a Man U type breakthrough they were fortunate to have in 1995.

Most of these players are now in their early 20s. They're not going to make the kind of impression that will save the club millions. They are very ordinary although I think Baker has a chance.

When Lichaj and Baker were playing together on saturday I thought they were a really good team. They were right in front of me where I was (in the Trinity) and cut out lots of everton attacks between them.

I know that Gabby is going to come back at some point (and I hope it is soon) but for me the priority is for us to have more of an effective attack because we really miss him when he's not there, rather than another left back.
