Adam Johnson would be a good signing I think, although the amount sounds a lot.
He can play on both wings and seems to have a good eye for a goal which would help if we’re to play one upfront ay any point.

I wouldn't complain, but we've N'Zogbia who is an incredibly similar player and Lambert has never really played with widemen.

I also think he's a little overrated...

That said it'd be hard not to get excited if he did sign.

AJ has been a rumoured target all summer, and I am fairly confident that there is enough in the kitty that Lambert was promised to get Johnson, a full back and a striker in.

Can't help feeling we will end up with Jones up front as he suits the mould and may allow us to purge Hutton from our souls, and left back could be Cresswell or Poulson, or some other we are yet to hear about. I can't believe Dunne will go, unless it is a silly deal like 3-4 million, but we would need to buy a replacement then. So Johnson is not beyond the realms of possibility.

Eamonn, Milner would not come back, he started Sunday. Johnson is a really talented kid, so could be a brilliant signing if he comes IMO.

i think some of you guys ought to stay of the Speculation, lies and absolute crap thread, because you are taking it all to seriously.
people do post stuff thats not really got much authority, but thats what the thread is for, its no good jumping down the throats of those who share what they have heard , read , txt etc, a lot of it will be bullshit but hey ho, live with it

or better still just stick to the official site, that way you wont be dissapointed
