If we don't bring any more players in and Fonz takes Marshall's place i  the squad, I would think that will be the matchday 18 for the West Ham game.  I think Given will get the nod in goal, I can see Baker maybe getting the nod over Lichaj at LB, and think N'Zogbia will be partnering Bent up front.

It's good that were gettin rid of the shit but if we don't bring in some new players we'll be in the shit, there is a real lack of quality

I'm not too worried at the moment. There is still 2 weeks of the window left. It is still going to be a long hard season but I'm still very positive that we are going to be far more organised and better to watch. We will probably still have the odd nightmare, but not every week. We'll be ok just maybe not contenders for the top 6 or 7 just quite yet.

We definitely need a new left back if warnock has been dropped. Baker hasn't played left back in the friendlies. I imagine lichaj would start ahead of Stevens but I'd much rather have a better, left footed option

It would be nice to have a new left-back but too be honest its not as much of a priority as having a forward in first, and then a creative midfielder.

Au contraire, Squire. I think getting a decent LB is THE priority. Getting the defencec sorted out, after last season's horror-show, has to be #1 issue.

I agree, we all want the old guard out but several signings to bolster a paper thin squad are badly needed, lets hope PL has a few surprises up his sleeve.

The three absolutely critical things we had to do for the first match was get a new central midfielder in that could compete, sell Collins and buy a replacement and sell Warnock and get a replacement. We have done 2 out of 3, it would be nice for a change to get all 3 done, so i really want to see a left back in this week. The next very important thing would be to get someone else who can score goals other than Bent, i'd like to see that wrapped up by deadline day as well. A bit of beefing up in other areas would be nice too if possible.

Is Herd injured or just not in the squad?

According to reports, Wolves want a total of £20m for Fletcher (with add ons)
Insanity.

I agree. A fragile defence can be ripped apart in the premiership.
