Scott Sinclair is apparently shagging the girl who plays Rosie Webster in Corrie.

Lucky, lucky man.
I've shagged her.

Me Too - And Gary Glitter.

Fixed.

Great wit coops- highlight of the week!

Isn’t it shocking that all footballers are not two footed.  All it takes is training.
Southgate was a great example of how much easier football looks when you can kick with both feet.

That great player who sought Champions League football, so left for Middlesboro. Southgate wasn't as good as he thought he was.
He was a lot better than many give him credit for - except as a penalty taker.

Kind of, as inferred above, because he could use both feet he rarely looked flustered (compared to Ugo who was very right footed) which means he was rarely in trouble or stretching to get the ball.  He wasn’t a world beater but due to his commitment to training and improving himself he got the most of his natural talent.

Yeah this drives me mad as well, it sums up the quality of coaching at professional level that so many players end up out of position for a shot because the ball was on their 'wrong foot'.  There are a few players down the years where it's been hard to tell but nowhere near enough.

Didn't we give Given a 5 year deal to bump his money up a bit?

Yeah Given signed a 5 year deal.  I guess we can add contract negotiations to the list of things that TSM is terrible at.

I don't remember anyone questioning it at the time, although I accept there may have been one or two.
It's amazing how many come out of the woodwork when a player fails to deliver.
Look at N'Zogbia, apart from me and a couple of others everyone was saying to get him in. As soon as he stumbled and stalled his way through the season it became ' Effing McLeish, why did he buy him?'  ;D
Nobody's coming out of the woodwork and it was'nt just one or two, alot of people said it was daft to give a 35 year old with a history of injuries a 5 year contract.
All I'm saying, luke, is that I don't remember many moaning at the time, yet there seems to be shed loads complaining now.
I actually thought it was worth the risk with a 5 year contract, with him only being 35 and a keeper. I didn't realise he had a poor injury record though.

You would think that a pro footballer would have a favorite foot but not a wrong foot. Shame for them.
Do they have a favorite finger for their X-box ?

I really think Bent and Sturridge together would be a real threat. They could pull defences all over the place plus Gabby and N zogbia on the wings. Ireland to produce the inspiration or better still Berbatov.

SSN reports that Anthony Annan, a midfielder from Schalke is on Lamberts wish list. Anybody know anything about this lad ? Schalke have told him to look for a new club and Villa are monitoring the situation. What do the H&V hoards think of this ?

Was mentioned a few pages back.  He's got quality, passes well, eorks hard and is very disciplined sitting in front of the back 4.  In the world cup he was the who sat deep and controlled midfield to allow Boateng and Asamoah to wander around and find space.  Could be a really good replacement for Makoun if he can't get his permit sorted.

I really don't think that would work. Judging by Lambert's systems so far, if we play two forwards we definitely don't play two wingers - often we play none - and I agree with him, because that would leave us short of bodies in the midfield.

you may be right about the midfield diamond' but I still think a starting front two of bent and Sturbridge would score a lot of goals' especially if you had berbatov at the diamond tip pulling the strings....
