With the lads coming in the writing is one the wall for a few of them. It won't take until the end of the window to move as club will likely give them and ther agents plenty of hints. Like, being left off tours as an example.

According to james nursey randy is selling the browns ,so maybe there could still some money for us to sign a top striker .

The squad is shaping up nicely.
It looks like a new left back is imminent so I would be happy with just another option up front as Gabby and Bent are carrying injuries into the new season.
We could be fairly lightweight up top if they aren't fully fit comre kick off we only have the Fonz and Weimann to rely on.

Indeed he is, or at least his controlling interest in it.  More of that here:

Collins is set to meet with a Premier League club this weekend. Sources say he's as good as off, with Dunne expected to stick around. Clark and Vlaar in the middle, can't wait.

Well if pedantry is the order of the day it is only 25 pages.

I'm sure Lambert knows enough about Hutton already to realise he's not good enough, even a lot of us on here knew that before he'd even signed for us.

Aye.

Culverhouse and Karsa are meant to be pretty detailed when it comes to analysis of the opposition. Chances are they knew a fair bit about our weaknesses before they even started in the job based on last season's reports.

Frankly I think we have a top striker, that isn't a key area.

Yes, we do have one, who missed a lot of last season through injury and who isn't fully fit heading in to the new season. A back up would be handy.

I do agree we need another striker as back up, but if we were looking for a 'top' player I think they could be better utilised elsewhere.

I agree. I don't see why Darren and Andi can't be held responsible to bang in the goals.

I get the impression from the US tour that Lambert sees more in Delfouneso than Weimann.
