If Milly came back, he would be straight back in the centre midfield for me. And in 12 months would be for England. This waste playing him wide is just so painful to watch.

Although Milner looked like a pub player in the Euros, I think he's a cut above our level now (both in terms of quality and wages). Can't see him going abroad, but I could see him going on loan to someone like Liverpool. Can't really see who's going to pay £20m plus for him and £100k a week though. So perhaps a loan isn't 100% out of the question, if noone else comes in for him (with Citeh paying X % of his wages still)

Would be about the best signing I can imagine though. In central midfield of course. I think he's a very average winger

I'd be pretty happy with Whittingham, Clyne and Hammy as our first three signings. Add them to Holman and we've strengthened in areas we are lacking. Whittingham can offer the goals we've been lacking from midfield, Clyne is a good young, full back which is something we desperately need, El Ahmadi gives us a defensive midfielder which is something we've desperately need for the last few years and Holman can also get us goals from midfield as well as another wide option. All-in-all good business, and best of all none of them are the overpriced premiership players we have long pissed money away on fees and exorbitant wages for. A centre half or two might be useful on top but those three would be decent signings.

If we can sign Clyne, Whittingham, and Karim I will be over the moon very good players just the sort of players we need.

Whittingham is a quality footballer. He will prove that if he comes back I am very sure. He can pass and shoot.

Besides if rumours that hutton might go tuther way are played out, he is worth bringing back on that alone!

Totally agree.

Me too. I'd love to see the cultured (if lightweight? - I haven't seen much of him lately) Whitts back. Show's we're going more towards German-Italian way of playing instead of just being a team of not very physical grunts.

Actually I think it's ridiculous to judge anyone by their size.

Agreed.  We all know that it's what you do with it that counts.

Anyone else seen the pictures of Rooney at a Vodka party in LA the day Spain show their brilliance to win the Euros? I cringed and thought why have they not been made to stay out there and watch the games.

Anyhow, the point is, as much as he improved as a player last season, I would love to have no players from Villa going to parties in LA with Cole, Rooney and Zat Knight. Unfortunately a rather lobster esque resembling cock is there, smirking away, looking like he is the bloke that crashed the party with his mates. Yes, I give you the great Steven Ireland. It will be sad from a footballing point of view, but I cannot see Lambert keeping him long.

Mr Ireland looks a proper prick with Arnold from Different Strokes, Hightower from police academy and Granny fucker Shrek. What a motley crew of pricks.

I assume by Hammy you mean El Ahmadi - might wanna check if he is a Muslim before you give him that nickname.. you may need a non pork related one  ;)

Being linked with Scott Sinclair. I initially thought that would be a really good signing, but I checked and he hardly seems to get any assists at all. I think we need players who'll create chances for bent and others. We already have CNZ who is a selfish winger. Albrighton / Holman seem the more unselfish types. They might not be good enough though!

Perhaps Maz is thinking of Bernard Matthews' turkey ham?

Not that impressed with Sinclair, hoping he goes to Liverpool as they will want him too.

Winger wise Johnson would be my big target for the summer as he makes things happen and could really get people off their seat, and Phillips who has pace to burn.

We really don't need another winger right now - I want to hear about the defenders he's going to bring in.
