I am pretty sure he is out of contract today so as he is under 21/23 we need to sort out a fee or it will go to a tribunal

If out of contract then i guess we can in that case sign him and let a tribunal decide a fee- lets hope he is one of many new faces in the coming weeks, everything so far looks promising regarding the players lambert is being linked with- young and hungry with plenty of ambition.

As someone else has already said, if Whittingham hadn't already played for us everyone would be excited at the prospect of a midfielder who has scored 50 goals the past 3 seasons and has been voted by many as the best player in the championship.

I'd love him back.

As for Clyne I would take him instead of Hutton all day, but is he better than Lichaj? He seems to have been around for years without moving to the Premier League.
