Yes fingers crossed.  Also, a "Twitterer"?  Shouldn't that be a "Tweetie"?

Butland would be mad to come here tbf. I know that's an unpopular thing to say, but he's just got in the England squad whilst playing in League 2, so the people at the top know his quality. He needs games so he should stay where he is on a professional level.

I'd have been up for signing him a week or so ago when it seemed he'd be available cheap, but they'll want crazy money now. Especially with the unfounded reports of £6m bids rejected.

If Southampton bid £6m and Blues rejected it, then I'm Robbie Savage.

I know a guy who does some scouting and like most scouts he was sent to watch Butland quite a bit when he was out on loan last season. His opinion, and apparently he wasn't on his own in thinking this, was that although Butland looks an outstanding prospect and looks likely to become a top keeper, his time at Cheltenham in Leauge Two was more of a learning curve which included some less impressive performances rather than the outstanding success some people portray. If blues think he is ready to be their first choice in the Championship next season that is their choice but I think any PL side would be buying him as a number two keeper initially. Maybe in their position blues would be better to do what a lot of European clubs do in these circumstances. Sell him with him coming back on a two year loan as part of the deal.

Warnock to move further south, to Waste Ham?  Can't see it myself but, great if it's true.

Blues can't buy anyone can they?  Don't they have a transfer embargo?

Are they not allowed to sign free agents either? Not sure whether the embargo would cover that or not.

Butland would be better off staying at Blues and building himself a reputation.
