Back of the Birmingham Mail has Redmond to West Ham for £1m.  Fuck knows what truth is in that, but if any we should be trying to hijack the deal!

Saw that as well, £1m plus add-ons.  I think the kid has great potential and would be a steal for that price.  I still think we could do with another wide option and that he would be a good addition.

Be very funny if they did flog him cheap when Peter Pan just said this.

I'd like to make it clear that Jack Butland and Nathan Redmond are not for sale unless we are subject to an eye-popping offer. While the decision to sell Mutch was not taken lightly, it was felt replacements could be sought for the midfielder but our intention is to keep hold of other talented gems we have.

The main reason why the club might not be all that bothered is that we have Burke, Graham, Grealish and Carruthers coming through. All of whom are at least potentially as good and possibly a lot better.

Still, I wouldn't be exactly upset if we went for him. He's a good player.

Sounds more likely then. Glad we are looking abroad.

It has quotes. Surprising.

Very happy. Could be a great signing.

Issue with buying these Blues kids is that while they may be touted for pennies to West Ham and Cardiff, there's every chance they'd add a couple of million on if we asked. The outrage of a young Blues star coming to us for so cheap from their fans is something they'd like to avoid.

Can't honestly say I know a lot about him or have ever seen him play, but it's nice to get the ball rolling this summer!

Seems exciting and something a bit different,if true. Hopefully it works out better than our previous Moroccan imports.

So how much are we gonna have to pay for this El Ahmadi? Being as he's  only got 1 year left on his contract it couldn't be more than a few million surely?

If Redmond is going as cheap as that (which i doubt) then what would we have to lose? He's looked excellent on the occasions i've seen him.

Nice. Looks like Lambert's got his man with relative ease.

Can't claim to know anything about him, but it seems we've got value for money in terms of transfer fee and his wages will be relatively modest.

Looks tall and athletic so hopefully we've got a bit of extra solidity for defending set pieces. His distribution looks very good from the YouTube clips too.

Here's hoping he's half decent.

Does this bode well for Makoun?  Seems a very similar player to me and with Herd also around for the same position, maybe Bertie has decided against giving him another try?

And they're off!  I'm just listening to an interview with El Ahmadi, unfortunately it's in Dutch so not much use to me.  However he talks very well, no mumbling nonsense.  UTV.
