Tomasz Kuszczak has joined Brighton - would have been a good number 2. But, I assume he wanted to be a first team regular somewhere.

Every Rangers fans I have ever spoken to has said that they are still amazed that Rangers got £8m for Hutton.

I've met more than one Spurs fan who was delighted to get between 3 and 4 mill for him.

Incredibly stupid purchase.

At that rate of decline, we have to pay someone to take him?

Hopefully McLeish will get a job soon and will make Hutton his first signing!!

Not even McLeish is that stupid- surely?

Although I think they are buddies - witness the You Tube video of them on the London Underground together singing " Flower of Scotland"

Is anybody bothered? Very average player.
Which is why West Ham are signing him unopposed.

Quite Maz - Wigan to West Ham is about as underwhelming as it can get and tells you everything you need to know I suspect

Seen that clip of McLeish a few times, but have never noticed Hutton on there!

James Nursey reckons Lamberts after 2 fullbacks, a centre half, a central midfielder and a striker with Naughton "looking likely".
I think that's at least what we need.

Lambert strikes me as being quite astute. He won't have to tax himself too hard though to figure out where we are utterly dire. He can go pick up one of the many unsold 2011/2012 season DVD's if he needs evidence. Our defence and midfield are soft, slow and in total a complete liability.

I think Given will go to QPR and Ruddy will come to Villa, with that Butland kid moving to Norwich. I think there's too many question marks over Shay at the moment.

Well said that man.   But if he doesn't get rid of what we have he'll need to teach the lads to defend from set pieces as a matter of urgency. If he can do that he'll turn a lot of our draws from last season into wins.

Well he's bang on the money there if that's what he's looking for.
