Hutton to go.

Sheer joy.

He can always play for McCatpiss again when he manages some shitty Scottish team.

Lambert is no mug, he knows an utterly shit player when he sees one.

Let's get rid of Warnock while we're at it.

Please bring Ollie back home, just for a year. Preferably  as a replacement for Collins.

there's nothing to worry about. Once it gets going yer head's going to be spinning like the front door at VP with all of the comings and goings. I can see upwards of 10-12 deals being done (8 in, 4 out my guess) in the space of 2 months which is a lot. That includes Holman as one of the ins off course.
Is Holman our new official sulker or is that the mean and moody look on the OS wearing the new shirt.

Who is going to sign Hutton? I can't see anyone rushing in for him....

Agreed, we could be stuck with him and his wages.

Re Ibrahimovic, no thanks, no way he would cut it in the prem, too hurly burly,  Such a precious flower for one so big and an ego the size of Russia!

Ibra is ridiculously strong, and he uses that power well.

Not true.

Or were Man Utd were granted special dispensation to sign Powell?

Or us with Holmann, or Chelsea with Hazard? Etc.
You can sign whoever you want, whenever you want, but can't officially register them until the transfer window opens in july. Since we are in close season it doesn't matter right now. Bosmans are different, you can register them any time once they are out of contract

This myth comes around every year. Here's the official FIFA site for last year's registration period which clearly states that the window was 1st June - 31st August, though that masks the fact that the window opens at the end of each domestic season. Once the domestic season is over there is nothing stopping a club signing and registering an eligible player.

However, I'm sure this won't stop people saying the same next year :-)

When there's international competitions business tends to move slow. Lamberts barely cleared McCatpisses shite from the office so I don't see any signings happening till July. He's also got to assess our squad too. He may feel in some players cases that he can't turn things around. Maybe Warnocks not done yet. Get him back to the form of his first 6 months here and he's an asset. I personally doubt it and would rather sell him but Lambert will have to make a lot of judgements on our squad. It's early days yet. I'm not worried.

You need to assess Hutton and Warnock?

Been told we are lining up deals for two Chelsea players. One being Lukaku on loan, no name for the other one yet.

Would love one to be Sturridge, but that is highly unlikely. What about the LB Bertrand on loan?
My Chelsea fan friends think Sturridge is a greedy, self-centred arse who does not pass the ball and thinks he's really, really good. For the wages he'd demand, no thanks.
Not a fan of loans of other Premiership players personally.
And 'no' to Kalou or Mikel whilst we're at it.

sorry, but that's nonsense. He's been brilliant throughout his career in some of the most difficult leagues in the world particularly Italy where they're not exactly soft defensively. He also has the height and a physique that would make him perfect for the English game.

I still think there will be one signing this summer where you think "Crikey, thats a big move".
