Im hearing from someone who works at the club that we may soon make an approach for victor moses at wigan .

There's no way Dave Whelan would let him join a small outfit like villa ;

Moses can talk to who he wants as he's out of contract, although would command a fee undoubtedly set by a tribuneral as he's still a youngster.

I also noted Pilar against Russia.  He was head & shoulders the best in a poor Czech side the other night.  Lovely rice too.

"I'm hearing" that Moses really ain't what we need right now - a CMF and a new defence is what we need right now ...

.... I really must stop talking to myself.

Whats needed is improvement in all areas and moses would improve our striking options, i expect several ins and outs and no doubt defence and midfield will also see improvement- trust in paul!

They bought him a year or two ago, do does that rule apply as he's not their youth product?

I'm prepared to go with your insider, eastie; rather circuitously, you got Lambert right.

He's not out of contract. He's in the last year of his deal and has said he won't re-sign. Wigan might play hardball now but it's risky. They'll want to get as much as possible but if they wait until January that possible fee will be slashed considerably. They'll get most for him this summer so they are likely to sell.

Being linked with him isn't new news. We've been linked with him on and off for the past few months.

Would be happy with him. Shame it looks like we won't be able to get shot of Given...
