Regarding Heskey.

He was a man mountain in keeping possession up top when Villa attacked, he scored a fair few goals and he was also a big voice in the dressing room too.

There, edited.

Chelsea are set to release both Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa when their contracts expire in the summer.

Really doubt we'll be signing anyone until we get a manager. Might as well lock this thread ;-)

Bosingwa was heavily linked to us early in the  MON era.

Totally agree mate, and Essien apparently. We'd never pay the wages.....

Now Essien I'd take in a heart best - awsome player!

They're expected to release Essien and Ferreira as well.

Essien will have plenty of suitors I'm sure but what a signing he'd be. Him and Frimpong in the middle would do nicely.

It's Bosingwa and Kalou, I think, but Essien isn't half the player he was before the injury!

Essien has another year left. There is no way they would let him leave on a free. With an injury free pre season, he is a hell of a player!

Injuries and 12 months left = cheap transfer fee.

But his wages would be the issue.

Essien will go to a CL club who pay decent wages abroad.
