Pravda on Heskey

He was a man mountain in keeping possession up top when Villa attacked, he scored a fair few goals and he was also a big voice in the dressing room too.

Lol

Would the young swiss keeper(insert name) be ready to move up to second choice?

'Scored a fair few goals'?! Weimann's already catching up with him.

Andy Marshall is out of contract too isn't he? Or am I making that up?  :-\

Cuellar already linked with Sunderland, journalism is easy money these days isn't it?

So, the clearout has begun. Will there be any one left for a new manager to manage?

Eight youth team released too,

None of whom I can remember any of our Reserve/Youth watchers raving about.

Were any of them ever seen as potential First Teamers ?

Ebby Nelson Addy, Connor Taylor, Charlie Ward, Reece Caira, Richard Bryan, Matthew Coton, Darious Darkin and Seb Jenkins have also been released from the academy.

Wasn't Caira the Aussie lad who got involved in some red tape nonsense that left him unable to play for anyone for a while?

Ebby Nelson Addy is a right back isn't he? I once gave him the number 42 squad number on football manager, and brought him off the bench against Swindon in the Carling Cup.

If I were Cuellar I'd stay well clear of Sunderland. Unless he wants to continue playing 10 games a season, at RB.

I think he is and we've got an England youth (Webb) coming through in that position so it won't be a shock.

Was he one of the one's linked to us when Houllier was in charge?

If I remember it was Fofana we tried to sign. We were actually very close to signing him but the transfer broke down because of a concern of an injury he had I think.

We were in for Mohamed Sissoko too, but technically he's Malian.
