Can we steer clear of ex man yoo players...apart from the obvious one, if whiskey nose let's them go for nowt, there's usually a good reason. Just ask the Djemba twins.
We'll have Ole Gunnar up front anyway...only a few years between him and Owen.

Owen? Why would we be after a poacher when we have Bent and Weimann?

37 goals in 38 matches.

Ole's son can go straight into the academy ready for the future too.

I know that literally nobody is going to agree with me on this, but I'd like us to go for Michael Owen on a pay as you play deal now he's been released by Man United. He still bangs them in when he's fit, and could contribute a good ten goals if he isn't injured. A pay as you play deal, if he'd accept this, would obviously mean we wouldn't lose out much if he gets injured.

I'm with you all the way.The fact Bent missed the last two and half months and remained easily at the top of the goal charts points to the fact we would benefit from being able to name Owen the bench.

nigel Hokey Cokey is back in the market place after exercising relegation get out clause

Do we want him in or do we want him out?

Oh the Hokey Cokey!

I don't want NRC back. Limited players & staff have got us in enough of a mess.

On the premise that Ole does become our new boss, what would we expect transfer wise?

I understand he likes the 'short passing game', so that might mean Makoun gets another chance at Villa.  I also think Hangeland would leap to the top of the possible CB signings.

Won't most of Serie A be falling over themselves to sign Nige anyway?

Hangeland's too old to warrant the fee Fulham would want.

We've got too many positions to fill to warrant £10m+ on a 30 year old centre back.

If it was £10m+ then it's a non-starter - how long does he have left on his contract?

I doubt he's on colossal money at Fulham and would be ideal to play with Clark, so if a sensible fee could be agreed I'd be for it.
