Dont compare Henry and Delph. Karl Henry isnt even a footballer. He's like some imbecile that has won a competition to play for his favourite club and everybody forgot it was a one off treat.
I would be amazed if even McLeish would consider this in his wildest nightmares.

So I'm filing it under utter utter bollocks.

I'd think that not even McLeish or Henry's mom would think he was the answer to our ball retention and creativity problems.

Hang on.  You’ve been moaning about McLeish for ages now, so it’s hardly the final straw.

You're right, I've been moaning about him since he arrived although I'm flattered anyone pays a blind bit of notice. That said I was actually defending him in saying that he is hardly likely to look at the carcass of the season and think 'You know what would have improved us, Karl Henry'. Nothing about it being the final straw as I think its patently bollocks.

Was hoping we would be linked with a wolves midfielder, just wish it was Jarvis and not that lag breaker Henry.

If that's the sort of midfielder McLeish wants then there is better players than Karl Henry, I'd rather have Cattermole.

I'd rather have Makoun back, thanks.

We can only pray that piece of shit Karl Henry doesn't come here.

I can see truth in it though, typical McLeish player.
Dirty, workhorse and meagre talent.

I was going to say, I pray to everything that Mcleish is going to be sacked. However if he is in charge next season, anyone saying Mcleish isn't stupid enough to sign Henry is nuts. He's exactly the type of anti-footballer Mcleish likes.

I'd rather play with 10 men than have the likes of Henry or Cattermole in the side. Lets face it, it wouldnt take long for that to happen anyway.

Talentless, objectionable hacks that somehow earn a good living from a sport they are inept at.

I think Karl Henry is just the sort of player McLeish would consider and if it wasn't him it would be of similar ilk or worse. To be honest I wouldn't trust him with money, so if he stays we better get used to such links. File this under very probable

Dear me - we do get very excitable over a made up story with no quotes in a newspaper, don't we?

It was PaulWinch who made the "last straw" comment.  I think he's seen a name with a P and a W in and got a bit confused! ;)

If it was 'caught offside' or another arsewipe football site like that I wouldn't take any notice.
But the fact that it's in the Guardian gives it a bit more credence.

Its not the whether the story is right or wrong, its the sort of player McLeish will attract!
We know it from past and present experience and the press know it, so that's what will happen Im afraid
