We have two main scouts and one, Arthur Numan, is very much based in Holland and has deep knowledge of the league.
We should have a senior scout in every major talent producing nation.

That's a great signing.  Twenty-six years old and approx £11million transfer fee.  Just the kind of player we need to get us back challenging at the right end of the table.

I agree.  It's the type of signing that would have gone down a treat when O'Neill was splashing the cash. 

O'Neill has almost certainly never heard of "Germany" let alone "Podolski".
