Malouda is out of contract in the summer, I'd take him.

Me too, I'm twice the size of him.

Too similar to N'Zogbia to be a useful use of what will be limited funds, IMO.

Past his best. Huge wages. I think I'd leave him.

Seems our potential signings are looking like all being in the bargain basement category, without much chance of raising fans expectations above mid table.

Given this, I suppose it's not surprising that big name players wouldn't consider B6 apart from the fact we are cutting back on wages and have a manager who doesn't exactly excite anyone.

The list of potential Bosman signings this summer is quite impressive. We've already signed one decent player and we're trying for more as we speak.
How much you pay for a player is not a reflection of how good they are or will be.

Let's see who else we go after first.

Way too much negativity here. Weve just signed a good Bosman in march for christ sake!! Martin 'pube head' No'deal used to drive me to distraction with his pissing around then it was just safe premier players. Having Numan as scout has already paid off. Get used to McLeish as he isnt going anywhere and as our manager deserves respect (starting by spelling his name correct). Of course this season  he has pissed me off but I want to see him after a full close season with his own players. This combined with our outstanding youth production line gives me hope for next season. As a side note some on here have been getting excited by Hughton over at Small Heath. It was actually Alex who signed King and Burke on Bosmans who have been their best players. Just get behind McLeish and stop the negativity. SOTC.

As someone who is still in the pro-McLeish camp, if he did instigate the deal to sign that wanker it may well tip me over into DazzyG levels of venom towards him!

My morals go out of the window when it comes to my allegiance of Villa if Rose West improved us sign her up!

We all make some moral sacrifice in the duty of supporting our team, to be honest (the reaction to Bannan drink driving, for example), but I can honestly say that employing scumbags of the likes of Marlon King is one thing I'd never swallow.

I was being tongue firmly in cheek but I think it was McLeish who signed king or at least set the wheels in motion.

Wasn't he dead against King but the club did it anyway?

Anyhow, who is the one we are trying to sign now Maz, or just purely on speculation?

I know that was the case with Zigic, but unsure of the story behind them signing the convicted sex offender?
