BBC still reckon we;re in the hunt for Fletcher at Wolves.
Can't say as i'd want him at that ludicrous price tag of £10m.

I'd rather look overseas and get somebody just as good for half that.

I think Fletcher is a decent bet - much prefer him to Carroll when looking at his goals record in poor sides.

The annoying thing about this transfer is that I've never heard of any of the players we've signed, nor has there been any speculation about them until we were pretty close to a deal.

On that basis, I'd like to see some completely unfounded speculation about which forwards we might sign. Anyone got any rumours?
 
Fletcher? Toivonen? Guidetti? Jeremain Lens? Gouffran? Gomis? Zaha? Rhodes?

One paper saying Wolves have rejected £12m bid for Fletcher from Sunderland, and are holding out for £15m.

Wolves actually want £15m for Fletcher, having supposedly turned down ten from MON. Talk of £6m is madness, they paid £7m for him and he scored most of their goals last year. He's hardly N'Zogbia'd has he?

They also have to pay Burnley a percentage of any sale above a certain amount so obviously they are going to inflate an already inflated price.
