I'd definately go for that Simon Kjaer. Plays for Wolfsberg. Went on loan to Roma. Only 22. With a chat from Mr Laursen, could possibly land him.

A fine player although he's struggled in Italy, I must admit I thought he played for one of the Sicilian teams?

He used too. Mclaren brought him to Wolfsburg. Then he went on loan to Roma. Danish centre halfs tend to struggle in Italy for some reason. See Laursen. But are always suited to the English game. Looks like the ball playing centre half we need.

well i'll try again ... a non Holt suggestion ....

Dimitar Berbatov

1 year left on contract, 31.

Currently on 100k a week

might go for bent type money of say 80k a week (weve just saved 65k a week from Heskey).

would give our attack guile playing behind bent with gabby on wings with the zog on the other side.
I'd rather sign Holt

No No and No

Way to much money and havnt we got a wage cap of £40,000 pw............

ok who do you suggest to replace emile?

I am sure we can get better value for money from France, Germany of Holland.....Berbatov works less than Emile

who then ?

Not the best example. Laursen was an absolute rock in Italy.

A divot would be an upgrade on Emile.

He's going to be immense but I suspect there'd be takers higher up the pecking order, like manure.

One name that hasn't been mentioned too much is Gary Hooper.  Yes, I know it's only Scottish football, but he has scored a fair few goals up there.

The center-back for Denmark with the long blonde hair and head-band.  He looked decent tonight.  Sign him up.

That would be the previously mentioned Simon Kjær.

Kjaer would be a hell of a signing, but I can't see him coming unless Laursen is on the blower putting the pressure on.

Kjær would be a signing right out off the top shelf. He's a fantastic player.

Kjaer, Gebre Selassie and Hooper would be a very welcome start to business.
