They were always going to come out all guns blazing. Withstand this for another few minutes then score to finish them off

We had possibly the easiest 45 minutes a Premier League team has had this season and only managed to get 1 goal. We'll be made to pay for not taking advantage of it if we keep on playing like this.

bit more fight from blackburn. they have advantages in terms of physical strength over us so we need to stop giving away unnecessary set pieces

Its so hard to watch Villa when we are under pressure, you just know we'll let one in. I'm sure this is felt by the players too.
We need to get rid of this mindset.

Don't understand why we are not pressing anymore in midfield and up front, why have we taken the foot of the gas.

Fucking hell Villa, must have been another inspiring Mcleish team talk because we are going backwards.

We've started to concede midfield a bit too much. As we always do when we do our worst.

So there you have it. Bent's 9 goals are expunged.

Well I guess it's a question of preferring Bent's nine goals and drawing/losing whilst playing poorly or 20 goals from various players and Villa wins.

More goals from one player versus more points for the team is something some people can't quite get their heads round.

The point is being totally missed by the blinding faith people have because of the ties Gabby has to the club. He is not as good a forward as Darren Bent, who would have done a lot more than Gabby did with the chance at the end of the first half, moves a lot more than Gabby, gets in front of defenders and actually scores regularly. We have played just as well with Bent in the side. Claret and Blue specs say he is not Gabby though.
