I've got a large bag of Nandos Peri Peri crisps in the kitchen.

I think I'll live a little and open them at half time.

Ireland is fantastic. Keane going is a shame, but I'm glad it means we get Ireland in the team and playing behind a front man.

Long term he has to be our main man in that position.

I know the moaners won't agree, but we are a much better team with Petrov in there.

Yep we are, also with Gabby through the middle too.

We are better with this formation and 1 up front, 2 holding centre mids and 2 wide men. Bent would get more than Gabby in this formation though.

Why the fuck are the 2 wingers on the opposite sides to their natural?

After watching Young and Downing for years, and Morley if you're old enough, you still don't know?

I know the reason, but it is a continuously stupid one.

Not as stupid as asking a question when you know the answer.

Anyway, never worked for the players I mentioned. Where does  Stupid Fergie play Young?

Agree with that, OzzJim, although it's worth pointing out that Gabby doess a fair bit of work in this formation to make it work. But yeah, I think Bent would get more goals.

Good save. Shame it wasn't passed across to Marc who was unmarked.

To be honest I'm wondering whether as well as he played individually if Keane had a detriment on the team. Having Ireland back in in his correct position is making us so so much better.
