Not that it matters (well done lads!) but why are Sunderland in the Reserve League SOUTH?
I think they're in the north, but you play matches against teams from each division

Yes, Man Utd by the looks of things.

I assume Bannan, Gardner, Herd, Lichaj and co will be in line for a reserves recall for the play off final?  It would only be fair as thats what United did in the League game the cheating wankers.  Is the Final at Southern winners this year?

Well done yet again. I think the play off final will be at Old Trafford against Man U.  The older reserve lads will be very keen to play. Bannan attends every reserve game he can. Even when he was at Blackpool on loan he always came back to watch the reserves. The other night against Liverpool I was in the lower section of the Trinity and sitting in front of me was B.B, Andy W, Herd, Lichaj and a couple of other young pro's.  Bannan gets a bit of stick on here occasionally as a bit of a bighead but the truth is that loads of ordinary fans know him because he and his Mom and Dad have always mixed with us and have never played the big I am.

We play all the teams in the southern division home and away.

We play all the teams in the northern division ONCE. Home or away.

Our academy team (Because most of the reserves were in the 1st team due to injuries) lost 3 - 1 against Manu who had an international back 4 plus another England International in Mid-field.

Well done to the young guns again. Showing the first team it can be done! Any idea when and where a play off will be?

As Manure are likely to be Northern Monkey Champs it'll be Old Traffordand its usually played midweek in early May.

This post has cheered me up no end and gives me hope that we do have a special bunch of lads that are coming through.  Whether we have the right man to bring them through is another matter.

His Mum has an enormous gob (and I'm not quiet), I remember sitting in the same stand as her and she was the only person you could hear :-)  His Dad seemed okay.

See from the interview with coach Sean Verity on avfc.co.uk that some of the lads who played yesterday are to be released at the end of the season....anyone heard who is being released?

I'd have Taylor and Nelson Addy down as certs. Apart from that there arent too many I'd have down as likely to leave.
Its always hard though when you have a good group but you have to move some on to make room.

Siegrist, Webb, Williams, Johnson, Graham, Grealish and Burke are very unlikely to go anywhere I think.
