Disappointing second half in truth. Too many players dwelling on the ball, we seem change away from the passing game we played in the first 45.

Liverpool defence looks pretty solid. Carruthers and for the first half  Johnson looked good for us.

On a separate note, in the commentary, Stephen Warnock had all the joie de vivre of a man who expects to be shot at dawn.

I gave it a miss last night as all my favourite players are now in the first team.

Thats the thing. Our reserve team would usually beat Liverpool but due to injuries and so on they are currently most of our first team and our academy is our reserve team. But, its great experience for the youngsters.

They got sucker-punched a few times last night and the scoreline very much flatters Liverpool but it wasnt a vintage performance by any stretch. Still top though.

For fucks sake McLeish, we can't have one of our teams scoring 2 goals. The clean sheet is wonderful but us scoring TWO is simply not on.
