There's quite a gulf in experience between the teams, and it shows. If anything we've done well to keep it down to 2.

We move between North & South divisions on an almost annual basis.

In boxing parlance it's a mis-match.

But if we had Lichaj, Clark, Herd, Gardner, Bannan, Albrighton and Weimann playing we'd smash them.

We're still in the South division, but for some reason this season the fixtures include teams from the 'other' division.

3-1 in the end. We fimsihed the game pressing but it really was a bit of a mis-match.

Enda Stevens didn't show much, Johnson and our right back looked the pick of our lads.

We play all the teams in the southern division twice, home and away. Plus we play all the teams in the northern division once. Either home or away.

Agreed, Steve. Stevens looked like he was just going through the motions, nobody really stood out but then this really was a team of 'kids', so you'd expect them to learn from the experience, if nothing else.

The Johnson goal gets my vote for Goal of the Season. He knew exactly what he was doing and boy did he place it. Genius!

Looks like first team call-ups have left us with a weaker than usual team. Then again, that is the way it should be.

Looking forward to this.

Thanks for that.  It's saved us farting about with AVTV.
