Thanks Leeg. Watch it die a death now!

Anyway, reserve lineup for the game V Swansea.

Siegrist, Lichaj, Williams, Webb, Baker, Carruthers, Herd, Johnson, Cameron, Taylor, Robinson.
Subs: Grealish, Barrett, Graham, Lewis, Caira.

Before conspiracy theorists wonder if Weimann isn't playing because of starting against Blackburn, it's because he's away with the national U21's.

Good idea for a thread. We've got some good 'uns coming through the ranks, I reckon.

Herd played all but the last three minutes and more game time for Lichaj, which is good because I think we'll need to use both at some point in the remaining games.

Anyone know why Enda didn't play (International call up maybe?).

I don't think the Republic of Ireland U-21s play again until May.

Might as well stick this in here as start a new thread:

Can any regular reserve and yoof watchers give me some info on how good Connor Taylor is? Tamworth have signed him on loan to the end of the season.

He's decent. Won't make it at Villa but perhaps a good championship player.

The Academy team beat Norwich in saturday morning at Bodymore.  A really good performance in very windy conditions.  Jack Grealish gave us the lead from the penalty spot.  Grealish, who played off the front man was brought down after a mazy dribble for the penalty.

Norwich equalised, a little against the run of play, with a great strike from Loza but Brad Lewis soon put us back in front with a far post header from Jordan Grahams free kick.

The very impressive Grealish sealed the win with a 25 yard effort midway through the second half.

The reserves are home to Newcastle on monday evening at Villa Park at 7pm (unless they switch it to Bodymore at 11, 12, 1 or 2 O'Clock or Hinckley on monday, tuesday or wednesday)
