Speaks loads when you consider just how big this game is to both teams, we should beat them, Blackburn have been near crap for a long time and as with the Wigan game this is really bottom of the league football.

-------------Given

Hutton-Collins-Cuellar-Warnock

---------Petrov-Herd

Albrighton-Ireland-N'Zogbia

-----------Gabby

We would definatly win with this team, one problem though... Heskey will start because Mcleish is a negative manager who only cares about not losing instead of trying to win.
The fact Heskey has scored more goals against Blackburn than any other team won't help either.

So please Alex prove me wrong and pick the best team to try and win the game.

Good selection there.

Shrek's team is the one i'd go for as well, but it's only going to work if the two wide players (Zoggy and Marc) actually stay out wide, i mean they need to hug the touchline like Young and Downing did. McLeish has them playing like wide midfielders rather than wingers, which has probably been one of the reasons why we don't create anything.

Should be an interesting day. See you all up there.

As I'm going, I'm getting really excited about this. Away matches are so much better. Haven't been since Bolton away.

As a season ticket holder, I'm finding home matches more of a chore to go and watch. Away games I can get excited about. How about an away season ticket?

Away scheme. £25 on top of ticket price for all away league games. No phoning up. Posted to your address.

Same team for me too. Would move Nzogbia to the right though. Need someone a bit more hardworking ahead of Warnock.

Worried about how Nzonzi might bully our midfield. The Yak plays a good game in every 3 and can trouble us for sure. Aside from that they are terrible.

Agreed. That's the team I'd play and i'm sure a lot of us would agree (but I doubt McLeish will).
Subs:- Guzan, Gardner, Bannan, Weimann, Lichaj, Heskey, Baker.

I agree to an extent, this type of game is built on a desire to battle and take risks. I'm not sure we've seen evidence of that from our squad recently, so despite their advantage over Blackburn in terms of ability, I just get the feeling that Rovers are more adept at scoring, and will battle for their lives today. I hope we can match them, but it remains an aspirational hope more than a confidence for me.

2-2 Gabby, Charles. No clue for them.
Same team as Shrek's apart from Gardner instead of Herd.

Going to be a long day!! Going to bed now, game on at 3pm here.

Come on you Lionssssss!!!!

If the game is on at 3pm in Vancouver, that means we need to wait until 11pm for kick-off.... 7am for west Canada seems more likely. Like Brian, I have a bad feeling about this must-win match. Tinchy Stryder predicts a draw and Lawrenson a 2-0 home win, too.
