Blackburn fans planning a series of protests before the game, should make a good watch for anyone down there on Saturday

Christ at this rate there'll be no one in their crappy ground because everyone will be outside protesting. Ha ha! Can't say I blame them, or particularly any of our fans who protest. It's been as bad as I can remember as a Villa fan. Thankfully I wasn't a fan when we were last relegated. I have endured Dr Jo, Ron's decline (we still managed to entertain at times though) JG's brand of football, Sir Graham 2: Too hoof or not to hoof, DOL, GH and now this. If some of you have seen darker days than these, then I truly commend you for sticking it out. I'm finding it tough!

Oh...Blackburn will sneak it I think. We're a bit fudged with injuries, and I don't think we're playing with enough of that relegation fear yet. We're a bit too comfy with a 7 point gap, whilst some of the bottom 5 are just stepping up a gear or two as it's getting to last chance saloon time soon.

I'd go with

Given

Herd
Collins
Cuellar
Warnock

Petrov
Gardner
Ireland

Albrighton
Agbonlahor
N'Zogbia

Me too, please Alex do the right thing.

If he plays Heskey left midfield, I think I will cry.

I said this yesterday.  I shall be taking a box of tissues with me.

Having just looked at the other thread regarding the predictor on the BBC and the run in we have................No question, this is a must win and a very important win.

Blackburn in March is no place for masturbation.  Or so I was told by the Judge anyway.

Look at the win ratio of kean and how much they are protesting. Then look at ecks. Not far apart, with better players.

I fear McLeish will concern himself with the opposition too much and bring in Petrov, Herd and Heskey for this one to shore us up, to replace Bannan, Keane and Bent.  Whilst I agree Petrov should come back and I'm easy as to which of Gardner/Herd and Bannan/Albrighton starts, this game must see Ireland and N'Zogbia back in to support Gabby for me.  I'd probably stick Herd at right back and let Gardner continue in midfield.  Maybe even Lichaj at left back too.

Ireland set to play in the hole according to Mat Kendrick! So no doubt Heskey will get the nod!

Blackburn can pull a decent result out of the hat every now and then,so in our current plight id take a draw, which is pretty sad really. 1-1

Loads of statistics.... http://www.actionimages.com/BarclaysStatement/Season2011_2012/No26_Statement_010312.pdf

I've put it here because there is a page dedicated to the Blackburn game to pour over (is it pour? Maybe its pore, or even paw). And lets face it we're not leading on any of the season's statistics except for Collins - Most blocks. Take a bow James. We are very proud of you.

Didn't realise there was a 'golden glove' award as well as golden boot. Golden glove sounds dodgy somehow.
