I never predict Villa to lose.
It's a matter of principle.

But we'll lose.

Does anyone know if any of the pubs in the Jewellery Quarter will have this on? Cheers

I hope to watch it in Apres on Summer Row, just around the corner if that helps MFB

With Blackburn being a very physical side and Villa so weak I am going to have to give this one to Blackburn, not even Blackburn are that crap to not be able to take some points of us, if not all.

What bothers me is the games to follow this one and where we will be.

Of course things may change and McLiesh leaves, then we have a different circumstances.

I had this tune going thro' my head whilst I was wandering around Wigan on Saturday morning. I expect the same thing in Blackburn next week.

the injuries should make the selection simple:
Given
Hutton Cuellar Collins Warnock
Petrov Herd/Gardner
Albrighton Ireland N'zogbia
Agbonlahor

but past evidence suggests Heskey will be in midfield...

1-0 Villa; I foresee another piss poor performance with long periods of clueless football enlivened only by an 88th minute winner from Gabby...

I think our usual noisy away following will outsing the Blakburn fans in trying to get your manager sacked.

Final score 0-0....... or 6-4.

I know we play Blackburn a lot.  I'm looking at the poll above this thread.

Have we ever gone into this game over the last few years with the majority saying we'll lose?

Come on, guys; it's Blackburn!

We will win this.

Back to Gabby up top with N'Zogbia Ireland and Marc behind and we will be a threat like at Chelsea. We will actually be able to hold the ball up in the final third now.

had this down as a loss but Dunne's injury could swing us a draw.  Bent's injury might also work in our favour in that he'll play 4-5-1 which will probably suit gabby and the defence. 0-0 or 0-1. on balance i'd go for the draw

That's made me imagine 75 minutes into a boring goal less draw and the entire crowd will be singing 'you're getting sacked in the morning'.    Kean and McLeish looking at each other wondering who they are singing to.
