I love the away Villa fans. Much better than the happy clappers who see no wrong in McLeish.

Fuck off with the happy clapper shit. Wanting to give him time and hoping he succeeds does not make anyone a fucking happy clapper. And unlike you most of us aren't wanking ourselves stupid that we aren't winning.

You know this place is going to be full of "I told you so" fuckers like Compass. They'll fucking creaming into each others pints after tonight.

I don't think anybody wanted to be right about McLeish but it was always a safe bet that things were going to turn out shit.......

I'm clinging to the tiny possibility that Lerner actually cares and is prepared to do the right thing, right now.

Won't happen, but it should...

I've already told him about that happy clapper shit, but to be quite honest, there were plenty of posters who will be right in saying "told you so".

The difference is, Compass will be wanking himself into a frenzy whilst doing so, whilst the more thoughtful of us will get absolutely zero satisfaction from it.

Listen to the Villa fans at the game, that makes me proud.

Me too. What an army, what a great tribe. The only thing that has given me hope in our future through bad times is the supporters we have.

I honestly think he's going to get a very unpleasant shock when they start ringing around for season ticket renewals.

A turgid comedy of errors from two shit teams is how I'd sum this up.

Awful, truly awful.

Had to leave game early due to commitments.

Terrible game, terrible tacticts.  He's got to go ASAP.

I bet those who weren't giving Houllier a fair crack of the whip feel pretty foolish right now. In fact, what of the endless drones of people who were saying "MON Out!"

We're a spoiled and impatient bunch we are.
