Bolton at home moved
« on: February 24, 2012, 06:28:48 AM »
Just looking on the os ticket page and noticed that the match against Bolton at Villa Park scheduled for sunday march 18th has been moved due to Bolton still being in the F.A.Cup. No mention of the new date though. Wasnt that match going to be on the tele?

Why are we playing most mid week games on a Tuesday this season?

Alex wants it. Actually, this one's a good idea - it gives Bolton less time to get over their FA Cup game.

There'll probably be a boycott by default.

Another home game moved  to midweek thanks to the Cup meaning we miss out on gate and TV money.

Can we not wait til Bolton get knocked-out in the next round and just move it to the following cup weekend? Our games will be all staggered now, two games in five days, none in 14 etc.

Still, better it's on the Tue than the Wed as Dave said.

We've got a game already that weekend.

Think we've got a game every weekend for the rest of the season now so had to be moved to midweek

Although I can understand the reason that Alex wants it on the Tuesday.

It hardly says much for us that we want to try to gain as much advantage as we can over the team that are second from bottom of the league
