VCTM jnr had the choice of going to the game or playing hockey for Formby ... guess what ? Miss VCTM is accompanying her father to the game instead !!!

Like to think we can get a win here but the head says 1-1

Reading that, nothing but a Villa win tomorrow. It will be a tough game, Wigan fighting for their lives but I'm going for a 3-1 Villa win.

I've changed my mind about 2-1 to us, I reckon 3-2 to us.

We need to win the next two then we're all but safe ....

You may well be right.
My challenge would then be: how many kids will McL be prepared to play in the remaining games in order to get them either up to pace for next season or out of the door?
If we get to a points-position where we can do that, it would be the best thing for all concerned.

We're going to miss Clark more than Dunne tomorrow so i'd be tempted to throw  Bannan and Gardner in the middle alongside Petrov and have a bit of energy in there.

This will be my first trip to Wigan, does anyone have any advice regarding pubs etc?  I'll be turning up on the train around 12:30.

Depends what you want to do. There's 3 pubs that are openly welcoming Away Fans.

No problems anywhere in Wigan.

Thanks.

On the face of it a forgettable game, however due to the significance in a good few area'a, massive game.

Can't see anything other than a solid win, take the point that Wigan are fighting for there lives and if they can't do it against Villa then they may as well start building for life in the Championship, that said, every time I've looked at them this season on the box they look about Championship standard.

Real test for Villa and a draw simply won't do, hope the Gabbs is back, we look like a damp squid without him, Villa without Gabby Agbonlahor simply isn't Villa IMO.

C'mon you Villa boys!!!!.

There's no "safe" for us at the moment. McL took SH down from "safe" positions twice. We've got to win every game we can until the end of the season. All of the points we've thrown away so far will come back to haunt us.

I should know better at my age but I am really looking forward to tomorrow.

Same here, apart from the match.

Its a strange old world really, this game wouldn't stir even a glimmer of interest from me a few seasons back, no way, it had to be one of the top 4 to have a crack at.

Now its a massive game v the mighty Wigan.

I am not so bothered with its importance. Its just going to be a top day out.

It will sound very smug, but when I get an excitable one on me for an away, and its rare, it normally turns into a fun day.

For no good reason, I am bouncing of the walls ahead of tomorrow.

Dead jealous, my current favourite away game, been to every one since they have been in the premier league, im currently out injured so im missing tomorow, absolutely gutted... definetly reccomend a stop over, great night out, went discotekin at Jumping Jacks in town a couple of years ago, great club...a night in Wigan is definetly a must at least one time in your life.

(im from walsall though, my standards are not very high)

A 2-0 win for the villa
