We'll go 2-0 up and be cruising. Then we'll let a goal in about 60/70 minutes in and panic to the end, but still manage to hold on.

That happened last year IIRC.

And maybe the year before.

Last year Yes,  but the year before didn't go 1-0 to us then 1-1 then 2-1 the Villa?  ???

Only a couple? Only if he gets the service, but yes! Yes!

Sweet and sour that would be.

I'd rather one of our players scored, if that makes sense.

We can't replace Keane...

I know it's boring and repetitive, but please don't start Heskey.

Hope so - think we've missed him big time. According to Physioroom he's due back this Saturday. Only worry is I thought he was out with a heel injury initially so if he's picked up a hamstring injury may be subject to a late fitness test?

Eck apparently hinted in his press conference that it might be too early for both Gabby and Herd to start against Wigan.  Im sorry but we need gabby to start big time.

VCTM jnr had the choice of going to the game or playing hockey for Formby ... guess what ? Miss VCTM is accompanying her father to the game instead !!!

Like to think we can get a win here but the head says 1-1

Not sure on that.

Big fan of Gabby but he was the one I was advocating droppingjust before he got injured. I think the Ireland...N'zogbia....Keane....Bent foursome has functioned quite well bar the Man. City game when two of those players weren't there and I don't think Gabby would've made much difference in that game.

Have him on the bench ready to bring on at 70 minutes.

Not too sure that I agree that we need Gabby that badly, I think I'd rather see Albrighton or Zog on the wing instead of rushing him back; we'd probably do better to have him on the bench as an impact player when we are inevitably struggling to get a firm grip of the game mid-way through the second half. I reckon we could really use Herd holding in midfield, though he's been out for a while with that injury and we could really do with having him fit for a while.
