Regardless of what's going on around us this a reasonable trip to make. You can learn from others and these days sport is approached  in a very precise way and it's good to share best practice  on fitness, rehab, and training methods.

Do we know if first teamers are bonding somewhere?  I heard they were not due back in for training until Monday 20th.

The first teamers are bonding with their families.  Bannan tweeted to say he was flying back to scotland and so did weimann.

That's a bit of good news I suppose. Remeber what happened the last time the first teamers "bonded" mid season?

Hey Alex, thought id reach out about the up n coming trip Randy has organised,
we will kick off with a breakfast meet, and really get our arms around the exciting challenges we face on our journey,
We can then have some face time at the training ground and my guys will perform a walk through of the facility. Our next stop will be an inter active game theory presentation and we can express normalising the imperative towards inducement of positive interactions in game play situations. We are really looking forward to getting your feedback but we will do the heavy lifting here. Have a nice day.

I won't bother checking if he is in his usual restaurant on Thursday night then.
Well, they say it is his usual one, but we've never seen him in there.

Regarding the 'workshop', I suppose that they are all sitting around a table now, breaking off into syndicates, sticking flip chart sheets on the wall, eating Fox's Glacier Mints and drinking Hildon Water (Sparkling and Still). Everyone in the room is bored out of their skulls, except the usual teacher's pet. The first thought that I have on arriving at these things is 'how the hell did I agree to this', permanently clock watching for every possible break from the boredom.

Fox's Glacier Mints you say, we get little packets of Haribo gummy bears at ours.

A good tip....never make eye contact when the question of syndicate group leader is suggested.

We have a plate of Teatime Selection biscuits in the middle of the table that everyone is far too self conscious to eat

Lavverly biskwits.

I wonder if Alec returns to his hotel after the meeting and dismantles his Corby trouser press?

Very odd and desperate times indeed.

Not sure what you can learn from a team that's been incredibly poor for a number of years.

Indeed, it's like taking your Gran to see Harold Shipman with her gammy leg.

Considering how shit the Browns are, isn't this a case of the blind leading the blind?

A complete waste of time, they'd be better off spending the next two weeks practising how not to concede from corners.

To be honest, I don't mind that McCleish has gone over there... i'm just sad that he will be coming back.

Late on, they'll order some Chinese food, and they'll eat it out of those cardboard cartons Chinese food always comes in in American films.

Eck will be so excited, he'll bang the desk repeatedly and say "this is just like being in a movie or something on HBO!".

Peter Grant will be so excited, he'll actually wet his pants a bit, and sit there for hours in a pool of his own piss, totally clueless as to what to do.

Don't listen to the dimwit who owns them both?
