I'm very worried about the current situation. I think tomorrow could signal the start of one of Villa's all time low spells. I don't blame AM totally but I have no faith in him getting us out of it. Frankly I'm sick of us being the leagues soft touch, maybe it would be a good thing to o down and start to rebuild like Newcastle did.

To be honest Dave, I think it's you who needs a heavy dose of realism. Our home form may yet cost us our Premier League status. All those dropped points were priceless. I'm not saying we are going down... but other teams have gone under similar circumstances.

We've got someone saying we're on our way to one of our lowest spells of all time, who thinks we're "the softest touch in the league" after we've lost one match, away to Champions League contenders, who thinks relegation might be a good thing, and I'm the one who should get real?

And what about the games we've thrown away against what were relegation contenders when the season began? We haven't won at home since November. I'd love to be wrong at the end of the season... but it's hard to be confident under present circumstances.

Let's hope we don't get too many postponed games. The alarming rate at which we have supposedly gone downhill while playing no games at all since Newcastle away suggests that, with a couple of matches called off, we would all be slitting our wrists.

And which games might they be... apart from Bolton, Wolves and Chelsea? Every other game since Norwich has been points thrown away.

Those wishing us to go down should be deported to Small Heath regardless of what fate awaits them. We are not reportable to the European Court of Human Rights.

The table makes worrying reading. There is no denying that. A win tomorrow would be priceless.

Not sure how we picked up only one point over the last 2 games but it has put us under pressure. Keane going, leaking goals and poor home form. It's not pretty right now
